19-07-2010，是我开始上班的第一天
已经接近八个月了。。。

开始觉得有点迷惘。。。

Hi, everyone

So sorry for abandoning this blog for almost 6 months.

I have started my working journey on 19 July 2010 in Health Sciences Authority....

The working environment is good and colleagues are very friendly as well ....

Nothing much to comment / complain about my current life ..

As it's quite lifeless and boring ...

I will start my day at 6am every morning,

breakfast --> walk to Mrt station --> take 40 minutes Mrt to the working place

lunch (nowadays, I normally lunch in @@) --> go home at 5.30pm

cook our own dinner --> browse website /facebook --> study journals from my boss etc

at last, try to go to bed by 11am ...

simple and boring life, isn't it ...

I am not complaining about this current life ..

just that I decide to live in this way and so I cannot complain anything as well ...

If you ask me, do I change my mind or change myself to a different person,

I will answer you, YES

I am trying to be quieter and more mature ....

politics occur in any place, so at my lab as well ..

so that, to avoid myself to be in the problems, I think that, keep away from those "problems" is the best way..

I am trying very very hard

as you all know that I am such a talkative person ..

Besides that, after starting to earn money, I become more thrifty also ...

just realized that money is very very very important in the life ....

a very meaningful sentence to share with you allll .....

have been slacking all the time at home for quite some days ..

do not really feel happy with the life nowadays...

but, what can i do ..

i cannot clarify myself i have been working very hard to looking for jobs...

from when i started to send out resumes, i guess i have already sent out more than 100 resumes to all those chemistry companies...

but the super low response rate has made me very disappointing...

even though i have been asked to attend three interviews before, there was only 1 company "really" interviewed me

why to say like this

as the hr manager in the second company told us she was really busy and so she could not interview me after i have waited over there for 1 hour ..

however, after that, there was no reply or news from them again even though i have emailed to ask ... how can they be like this

they have wasted my whole day as i have to purposely travel to singapore just for that interview

i believe that there will be gain if i do not work hard ...

but, how can they treat me like this .. @@

for the third company, it's a food-related company,

however, few days ago, i received a cancellation of interview from them again

as the position i applied has already been occupied .. erm

maybe they found the right one on the first batch of candidates

how unlucky i am ....

the failures and obstacles i met in the job-hunting journey is not the real reason to make me emo all the time ....

it's so sien and discouraging to see the one close to you or all of your friends are busying

while myself is so free, nothing pending ahead

this makes myself even more anti-social

not really willing to travel to singapore for the harmonica practices

i really admire and respect how much our alumni have contributed to harmonica

but i do think that i am not as great as them ~ and i am really not that talented ....

3年了

还有两个星期,我的大学生活就这样的结束了....

回想起这3年,包括进大学前的3个月....

我做了很多决定.....

可是,其实似乎是在很无知以及任性的情况下的决定....

第一: 就是决定进NUS,当时,我连看都不看就决定要进NUS了....
这个决定,我到现在都觉得很庆幸,如果没有当时的任性,我不会认识KK
他是我这辈子遇过最好的男人,也将会是我以后的归属.. 我相信

第二:就是决定读chemistry咯....这也是对的,因为我的兴趣就是chemistry....

第三:就是在hall里那么的anti-social...haiz
我的任性,导致一年浑浑噩噩的生活在hall里,朋友也没有认识几个
英文还是一样的烂....

第四:就是决定要进pure chem,其实对于这个我有点后悔
当时,觉得不喜欢较于偏engineering的applied chem.....
结果,任性的,无知的,随便的..就这样进了pure chem.....
现在,文耀他们也和我们拿很多一样的科目,其实,根本就是一样的嘛!!!!!

第五：就是不要跟ＫＫ去WAT,haiz....
回想之前,我也不知道自己在想些什么.....如果我有去,至少有一个3个月的假期是充实的...

第六: 就是突然的决定想去SEP,然后搞了三个月,又withdraw....
没人能了解当时我交withdraw letter的心情
我拿着信,在office外徘徊....交出了信,我真的真的很难过...毕竟三个月的计划,就这样的泡汤了...
三个月的期望,就这样没了...也许以后我都不会有那个到美国的机会了......
当时,走到楼梯间,我的眼泪就这样掉了下来....

第七:就是继续浑浑噩噩的过三个月假期...
以前,我不觉得intern很重要,urops很重要....
在加上,懒字当头,假期只想要玩,只想要休息.....
所以,现在的resume,空的就想白纸一样....

第八:就是honours这件事了....
其实到现在,我的心还是很摇晃~尤其在发现申请工作是多么困难的一件事后....
我更加的摇晃....我只能尽量的让自己坚持,坚持这自己做了的决定....

当然,还有许多杂七杂八的小事,

房子啊,旅行啊...一大堆的事....

有时候,很懊恼自己总是那么的没有计划...

我的人生,除了以后的梦想,从来都是没有计划的...

有时候,看着新加坡的coursemates,虽然跟他们不大熟,但他们对于自己的人生充满了planning

如果,决定要去sep,早早的便拿这个科目那个科目的....

从来不会让自己陷入我的那种情况....

haiz...好了

我想我要回去读书了....

毕竟,成绩是我的resume上,最闪闪发亮的一行字了.....

nope, now I am in the critical period, which may also be the last exam period in my life ..

the study week in NUS can seriously be treated as no-life week....

every morning, i pack all my luggage, blanket, sweater, socks n lecture notes to the study room near my hostel

try to occupy a seat near a power plug, so that i still can online while mugging

feel superb cold when i am studying here . that's why i am bringing my blanket

flash back to the life when i was in year 1 and 2...

you said I am too over for bringing blanket to the library

But, after a while, you also had to admit that .. it's really useful ~~~~~

haiz.. now i am only at the study room alone .. that's such a pity ~

during this "last" mugging period ... I could not settle down my mind to concentrate on the notes

keep thinking on my decision ...

keep thinking on my jobs ~

on my future

on my house .....

that's so many things have to be worried during this period ....

I have found that it's a correct and smart choice to choose not to continue

even though the assignments and projects are getting around

this semester, we will have to do a project based on the topic "cytarabine" which i just signed up just now

chemistry people are really kiasu, the sign up period open from 1/2 9.00am

just went for shopping with yeeting, liyong and weisheng yesterday night

it was really an amazing trip and we spent around 5 hours in the 4 floors forever 21 !!!

unbelievable right, weisheng also thought that we were already out of control at that time ~~~

we spent 1 hour ++ at the accessories section.. end's up with two ~ three necklaces and 1 ear rings..

but i din manage to get one for me at first ... but did during the second trip to there after dinner @@

after tat, i think i went into fitting room around 6 times @@ ....

kept q-ing and trying all those tube dresses

since there are two interesting HK drama launching,
everyday, i will spend around 1 and half hour to watch these two dramas
as an entertainment for my stressful life ....

But, now I found that I will not feel relieved after watching the dramas
because they are all talking about competition and tricks between people
Gong Xin Ji is talking about the competition between girls
They try everything and plan all tricks in order to be successful, to grab the higher power

It seems that those tricks will only appear in the drama, not in the real life
is it really like this ?
During our daily life, we also try our best,
in order not to be sacrifized / we study hard to get good results in the exam
to get a good class in our honour degree

IT IS ALL ABOUT COMPETITION ......

feel so horrible and frightened by the way they did to get what they want

I hope I can be simple-minded always even in the more complicated society in the future
I wish to win ... But maybe in a more honest way ....

sectional doesnt have much helps

as we are playing those running notes, and we can practice ourselves at home ...

if i did not remember wrongly

12 of us adopted a china little girl, name sun ying

every year, we only need to pay $50 , n

12* 50 = 600,

this 600 ringgits, to us, is quite a small amount

no even enough for our 2 months pocket money

but, this is the living expenses of 1 year for our dear little daughter

it has been three years, and she is growing up,

i guess,

since after my birthday celebration,

I have not gone out of the NUS campus for almost one month

except go home

i wish to have an outing ....... ahhhhhh

few days ago,

suddenly, i think about the kuishinbo buffet,

the great japanese buffet at jurong point,

there is free flow snow crab during dinner time,

unlimited salmon / some unique shells

desserts are very common,

which is one of the flaw of this delicious buffet ...

i remember the first time, i went there,

with deardear and his parents ...

that was during lunch hour,

no snow crab ..

But, right after that day,

we decided to go there again,

But this time, during dinner time

with zehao ....

the moment i went in .. nearly crazy with the snow crab ...

it is so delicious and tasty, fresh and sweet

i have never eaten such nice crabs !!!

haha, totally no image on that day ...

after one or two more tries ...

haha,

we started to feel sick of those food ...

i feel eating such a heavy meal will only create burdens to my body ...

few days ago,

i started missing that again,

due to the super expensive price .. around 50SGD

i decided not to qing ju wang dong ...

haha....

save more money!!!!

it is my second session for be a volunteer in the "lion befrienders" project

frankly speaking, the most important I would like to join this club is because of the CCA points, in order to help me to continue staying in campus ...

firstly, let me just brieftly introduce what this project is about...

for every sunday, we will go to some elderly's houses in the holland village...

visit them, and be their friends, chit chatting with them ...

actually, this is quite an easy task ...

for our group, we are assigned to two uncles - uncle francis and uncle tan...

uncle francis does not understand mandarin, so we have to speak english to him..

he has diabetes, but he loves to drink coke...

so, the person in charge remind us to check his fridge everytime we visit him .. and must remind him not to drink coke anymore ...

the first time we went his house, it is pretty clean and tidy

i think because of his diabetes, his ears are affected too... we have to speak super louder to him .. otherwise he cannot hear it ..

today, his condition is worse..

his eye sight is getting worse too ..

he can only see us in a very blurring image ..

today, his house is quite dirty and smelly ...

after we settling down for 15 minutes, i discovered one of the groupmates keep scratching her legs, and acting anxiously,

we do not know what had happened actually,

after few minutes, i found some weird little insects are on my shirt .. o shit

what are those little creatures ?

to not sadden uncle francis, we cannot have really big action or let him discover we are uncomfortable with this environment,

kock su and mei yee, trying to help me to get rid of those insects..

and we decided to leave early ..

after getting out from his house, everyone is so nervous and keep checking on their shirts/pants/ bags ...

we think that, it is a flea @@

disgusting right .. But uncle francis totally din realize about that .. OMG ...

flea is so a dangerous little creature u know ... and i think the flea is not really happily settling down in uncle francis's home ...

there are more than 20++ /faint

n, we have to report this to the community service center, they will send cleaners / some professional to clean the flea house ...

then for uncle tan, he is 80++ year-old already ...

he suffered from leprosy and hence his palms and feet are all abnormal .. during our first session to his house ...

he told us that, those people in that block do not want to be friend with him, because he is a cripple and "fei wu"

after listening this, I felt really sad ...

most of the elderly staying over there do not have family? or they have been abandoned by their family ...

how are they going to take care of themselves, that's why rotaract/community service formed ..

nurses from hospital will come to uncle tan's house to clean his legs/ wound everyday...

they will send lunch / dinner to him too ...

But, uncle tan seldom eat the food from them,

he said, it is not tasty .. haha ..

But, i really do not understand why children will abandon their parents ?

baba and mama are the greatest people in the world, without them, we will never exist too ...

when we were still young, they tried their best to give us the best things.. the delicious food..

when they are old, why we cannot take care of them just like they took care of us when we were young ...

one day, we will become old too ..

at that time, will our children also abandon us, just like we abandon our parents ?

to prepare and rehearse for the breakout of another horrible disease

NUS has put this week to be an e-learning week

so called e-learning week, we have to have lesson via internet

i.e watch audio/video recording which is done by our lecturer

actually, I have undergone a lot of the "webcast" life during my year 1

cannot wake up in the early morning

cannot concentrate during the lecturer

or have to skip the cls due to some personal reason

webcast is definitely a good friend mine

After I stepped out from my honeymoon year 1 and into the year 2

until now, year 3

webcast is seemed to be very far from me

no kidding, it has been 3 years ..

time really flies !!!!

back to my e-learning week ...

although we need not to attend any lecture

lab/tutorial is still on the way ...

so, there is no e-learning lab

But, it is hard to imagine how an e-learning lan should be done right ... haha

no wonder !!!!

it is quite awkward for our lecturers to record a video recording at their home

so basically, they just do an audio recording in the slides

maybe i have been getting older

I cannot really adapt to this fashion learning way

although i am quite enjoying the webcast

i cannot figure out the reasons too ...

just hard to concentrate ...haiz

it is time for me to gain back my concentration and study hard

i have screwed up two tests ...

today, i am really stunned by the papers

there are 20 MCQs and 2 super long questions to answer

in 1 hour ....

@@ i try my best to do the questions in shorter time

But i can't, to get the approach in the MCQs

we have to read through all those choices .. and choose the right one

at the end, I left question 2 blank, which costs me 20%

i really worry that i will fail this test, and this module

so, it is really the time for me to study / or to sleep

my body is getting worse

pimples burst out from my face, due to lack of sleep

is anyone aware of it ?

there was an earthquake at Southern Sumatra yesterday

now, the death toll has already reached 1000++,

it is another natural disaster,

caused people to lose their home, lost their families ...

people resides in our this region,

the region which is free from earthquake is really really lucky ...

even i felt the earthquake

even when i was looking at my shaky table,

even I have observed the fluctuating water level in my water bottle ...

The first thing came into my mind at that moment is not "EARTHQUAKE"

Firstly, i did check my fridge as i thought it spoilts.... @@

because of the abnormal vibration

Secondly, "Earthquake" flashed through my mind ...

But, it crossed very fast ... which I didn't really take this into my consideration

Lastly, I end's the shaking up with the drilling, construction nearby ....

People in those earthquake region,

take this more seriously

They willl first run out from the building when they feel it ....

another thing i would like to mention is ...

people don't really undergo the great damage/destruction resulted from the earthquake

will just think this disaster in more, so called "funny" way ?

1 hour after the earthquake,

i was happened to be on facebook ....

somebody, enjoys the shaking ???

I am just sick of their minds ...

how can they enjoy this when 200 people was dead because of this "FUN"

i dunno what were they thinking when writing such comments ....

during this superb and busy weeks ....

my life is all about tests and reports ....

i feel lost with such life ....

especially when i am alone ....

am i going to pass the rest of my uni life in this way ...

but, there is still another thing which lighten upmy life ...

that's our AUS trip ....

after withdrawal of SEP, after failed in applying the W&T ...

i put all my hopes into this trip ...

now, instead of going to canberra,

we seem more enthu to spend the whole week in the sydney ....

then, with that, i can spend more time with ruyun and aijia ...

mayb on 13/12 or even earlier, i will take a domestic flight to perth to meet with my mum and sisters ...

that's cool ....
these few days, keep checking on the airlines website ...
hope can grab some cheap air tickets ....
jetstar to perth and mayb tiger airlines back to singapore ...
this is temporarily the cheapest deal ...
But it still need around 700 SGD ....
OMG

But, ignore about the air tix,
i m pretty sure that, this will surely be a relaxing trip ....

erm, i wish deardear will also go with us ....

for the performance or mayb only perth ....

good morning everyone,

it is a lovely wonderful saturday morning....

i intended to wake up at 7am or 8am instead ...

but, i am just so lazy that i off my hp alarm and back to my sweet sweet bed ..

although in such stuffy and hot RVR room ....

now, i am having my milo and bread and biscuit for my breakfaz ...

how about lunch ? I have really no idea with that ...

from the day I back to sg,

i just had 1 meal outside, that was yesterday lunch ...

as I was at study room at that time ...

omg, i have skipped around 4 meals @@ ...

my deardear will surely be angry about this ...

so sorry ... ;(

but, i have spent sometime in cooking egg and make my sandwiches ...

haiz, I just do not wish to go canteen alone ...

and, i am sick of the food in NUS ...

western, niang dou fu, pork rb noodles. claypot ...

can I have some special things ???

eg, timbre buffalo wings ...

@@, i have been day dreaming for long time...
